You are gone now Mother
I miss you more than you can know
Time goes slowly by
I miss you so

No one can replace a mother
No one can take away the pain
Mother's Day is approaching
The thought makes my heart break again

It is my first year without you
First year of not talking with you on the phone
First year of not looking for a present for you
First year of feeling so alone

I know you are in a better place
A place of peace and love
A place where no one suffers
With God and the angels up above
