Aspiring Writers Spring 2007 Edition

It is difficult to believe but spring is here once again.

I think of the year gone by and wonder how I got through it. It was
one of those years. We all get through "it" some way, some how. I
know I cannot get through it without God's help, strength, and
guidance.

Who could not look at the wonders of spring and not think about
the earth's creation, the wonder of it all? All of this beauty did not
just happen. It was a planned event by someone who knew what
he was doing.

On a spring day I can look at the plants, trees, and flowers and be
sure there is a heaven. A heaven more beautiful than the earth
God created for us. Can you even imagine the flowers of heaven,
how beautiful they will be?

I remember the old hymn "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be" that I
sang long ago. The second verse goes like this:

"The angels so sweetly are singing, up there by the beautiful sea;
sweet chords from their gold harps are ringing. How beautiful
heaven must be."

Spring means new life and new beginnings. We all get more than
one chance in life we just have to know when to take it.
Hymn, "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be"  was written by Rev. A. S. Bridgewater.

St Patrick's day was Saturday March 17, 2007. Hope everybody enjoyed the
wearing of the green and rivers turned green in Chicago and other places.

Spring officially begins on March 21. Hail to Spring!
The fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq is in March.

Pray for our troops and their families.
